TCU Athletic Director Danny Morrison resigns, takes NFL Panther's Presidency

In a surprising move, TCU AD Danny Morrison bolts to North Carolina to become president of the Carolina Panthers.

Morrison was the former AD at Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC from 1985-'97. The school had been the training site for the Panthers their first 15 years in the league, allowing Morrison to build a relationship with team owner, and Wofford alum, Jerry Richardson.

As president, Morrison's duties involve business operations, Bank of America Stadium business interests and representing the team in league matters.

Morrison remains with his TCU duties until the end of the month.
